Two flasks of equal volumes have been joined by
a narrow tube of negligible volume. Initially both
flasks are at 300 K containing 0.60 mol of O, gas
at 0.5 atm pressure. One of the flasks is then
placed in a thermostat at 600 K. Calculate number
of moles of O, gas in each flask
(1) 0.4 at 300 K, 0.6 at 600 K
(2) 0.4 at 300 K, 0.2 at 600 K
(3) 0.4 at 600 K, 0.2 at 300 K
(4) 0.2 at 600 K, 0.2 at 600 K
