If 12 9 6 and 3 newton forces are acting upon a body the maximum resultant force can be 21 Newtons if both 9 and 12 are in the same direction and the minimum resulting force can be 3 N if 12 and 9 are in the opposing directions. I hope this answer can help you in some manner.
