two forces act on an object. explain what will be net forces acting on the object in different situation

there will the three different situations :-
1. when both forces act in same direction then the net force will be the sum of both forces .
2. when the two force act with same magntitude but are in opposite direction( balanced force) the the net forces will be 0 as the cancel each other.
3. when two forces act in opposite direction but having different magnitude then the net force will be non zero thus causes acceleration

if the forces acts in the same direction then net force is a+b
if the force are in diff. directions then net force will be a-b
