Given :

F1 = 200 N

F2 = 120 N

Φ = 60

we know that ,

the resultant force is

 \sqrt{ {f1}^{2} +  {f2}^{2}   \ + 2f1f2 \cos( \alpha ) }

therefore,


F (resultant) =
 \sqrt{ {200}^{2} +  {120}^{2}  + 2 \times 200 \times 120 \times  \frac{1}{2} }

therefore,

F (resultant) =

√ 40000 + 14400 + 24000

√78400

therefore,

F(resultant) = 280 N
