the magnitude of resultant=r  then,

r^{2}=P^{2}+Q^{2}+2*cos120

r^{2}=5^{2}+10^{2}+2*1/2

on solving we get

resultant=\sqrt{25+100}

resultant=11.2N

for  direction use

tan\beta=(Qsin120)/P+Qcos120
