You can use the parallelogram law of vector addition which is

R=√(A^2 + B^2 + 2ABcos θ)

Where A and B are the 2 forces and θ is the angle between them.

Here A=8N B=5N and θ = 60°

So resultant will be

√(64+ 25 + 40*0.5)

=√(89+20)

=√109 N
