ANSWER

Let the investment made by A be Rs. x.

Then investment made by B= Rs. (81600−x)

Given, x(1+1004)2=(81600−x)(1+1004)3

⇒(81600−x)x=(1+1004)2(1+1004)3

⇒(81600−x)x=(1+1004)=2526

⇒25x=(81600−x)×26

⇒25x+26x=81600×26

⇒51x=81600×26

⇒x=5181600×26=41600

∴ Investment made by B= Rs. (81600− Rs. 41600)= Rs.40000

Answer:

Let the investment made by A be Rs. x.

Then investment made by B= Rs. (81600−x)

Given, x ( 1 + 4/ 100) 2 =(81600−x)(1+ 4 / 100) 3

=> x / (81600−x) = (1+ 4 / 100) 3 / ( 1 + 4/ 100) 2

=> x / (81600−x) = (1+ 4 / 100) = 26/25

⇒25x=(81600−x)×26

⇒25x+26x=81600×26

⇒51x=81600×26

⇒x= 81600 × 26 / 51 =41600

∴ Investment made by B= Rs. (81600− Rs. 41600)= Rs. 40000.
