Concept:

For businesses, profit is that the positive gain remaining in spite of everything costs, taxes, and expenses are deducted from total sales.

Given:

We are given Amit and Vikas started a business investing within the ratio of 5:6 and Navu joined them after six months investing an amount adequate to that of Amit's and within the end of year 25\% profit was earned which was

equal to Rs. 900.

Find:

We have to seek out the number recieved by Vikas.

Solution:

Let us assume the whole profit are going to be x.

So, 25\% of x=900

Now, we'll find the worth of x, we get

\begin{aligned}\frac{25}{100}x&=900\\ x&=\frac{900\times 100}{25}\\ &=3600\end

Further, we'll find the share of amit, we get

5x\times 12=60x

and share of vikas is 6x\times 12=72x

and the share of navu is 6x\times 6=36x

Further, we'll combine all the shares and again find the worth of x, we get

\begin{aligned}60x+72x+36x&=3600\times 12\\ 136x&=43200\\ x&=\frac{43200}{136}\\ x&=317.64\end

Now, we'll find the number recieved by Vikas, we get

6\times 317.6=1905.88

Hence, the number received by Vikas is approx 1900. So, option A is correct.
