Two friends bought two parrots and took them to their homes. First friend’s parrot had a habit of cursing and abusing others. Whereas the second friend’s parrot used to recite Geeta shlokas as well as used to say good words.
First friend was worried about his parrot’s bad habit. So he decided to move his parrot to his friend’s parrot’s cage. He was hoping that his parrot would learn some good and moral thoughts from the other parrot.
Both the parrots lived together in the same cage for a few days.
But after some days both the friends were surprised to see that the second parrot, who was supposed to teach good thoughts to the first one, learned bad words from the first parrot.
Moral- Bad company often ruins noble thoughts.
Bad habits die hard:
Two friends buy two parrots and take them to their respective homes. After a few days, the friend visits his friend’s house. The friend asks the parrot to recite verses from the Gita and the parrot promptly does it. The friend is stunned as his parrot only curses and uses bad language. He decides to shift his parrot to his friend’s house so that it could also learn good words. After a few days, the friend tells him that his parrot too has started swearing and cursing.
There are a few things that we can learn from this. One is that it is very easy to pick up bad habits, but good habits take very long to form.
