Answer:
Let the number of walks parallelly be S
Let the number of walks parallelly be P
According to question
No. of suman started walk are two less than twice the no. of walking
i.e., x=2y−2→1
No. of walking is four less than four times the no. of pants (Note: language of question is confusing, so I have assumed the question means this by the second part of their statement)
i.e., x=4y−4→2
x=2y−2
x=4y−4
Subtracting 1 from 2
⇒0=2y−2
⇒2y=2
⇒y=1
Putting y=1 in equation 1
⇒x=2y−2=2(1)−2
=0
∴ No. of walking purchased=0
No. of suman walks purchased=1
