Once upon a time there were 2 friends in a village. Their names were Ramu and Manoj. They study together, play together and were neighbours. One day both of them needed to go to the other village to buy some households. A terrible forest fall in the way of the other village occurred. The forest was very dangerous and was home to many wild animals. As the two friends entered the forest, they started shivering from fear. Ramu said "What if we get into trouble?" Then Manoj replied "Let's promise that if any one of us gets into trouble, the other will not run away. He will stay and will help the other". Ramu and Manoj both said "Yes I promise you my friend". Then they started again. After walking for some time through the forest, they heard a rustling sound from the bushes ahead. They stopped there. Ram asked "What do you think, it is?". Manoj replied "I don't know, it's not clearly visible. Can you?" Just after it a dark figure appeared in front of them. Manoj said "Ohh no! It's a wild bear." "He hasn't seen us yet, run! run!" said Ramu. Saying this he climbed up a tall tree and sat on one of its branches. Manoj did not know how to climb a tree so he asked Ramu to help him to climb the tree. But Ramu shook his head. The bear approached so, Manoj laid down on the ground. He had heard that bears don't attack dead things. So he held his breath and closed his eyes. The bear came near him and sniffed his ear to see whether the boy was breathing, but the boy held his breath tightly. The bear left, thinking that he is dead. After the bear left, the boy on the tree came down and asked "Are you fine, my dear friend?" Manoj said "Yes I'm fine." Ramu asked "I saw that the bear was whispering something in your ear, what did he say?" "He told me to stay away from false friends and not to keep such company." said Manoj and moved on.
Moral:- We should always keep our promise and should beware of false friends.
