Given :   The capital of the two partners together is given by polynomial 6 x^2 + 11 x - 35, which is the product of their individual share factors

To find :  (i) Find their factors. (ii) Are their capital shares same?

Solution:

The capital of the two partners together is given by polynomial

6 x² + 11 x - 35

=  6 x² + 21x - 10x  - 35

= 3x(2x + 7) - 5(2x + 7)

= (3x  - 5)(2x  + 7)

Their Factors are   3x  - 5  and 2x  + 7

3x - 5  = 2x + 7

iff x = 12

if   variable expenditure. = 12  then their individual Share factor are Equal

3x - 5  > 2x + 7

iff x > 12

3x - 5 < 2x + 7

iff  x  < 12
