Two friends Vicky and Satyam start a business together. They wanted to share their

capitals depending upon variable expenditure. The capital of two partners together is

given by the polynomial 6x2 + 11x – 35, which is the product of their individual share

The capital of two partners together is given by the polynomial 6x² + 11x – 35,

6x² + 11x – 35

Using middle term split

=  6x² + 21x - 10x – 35

= 3x( 2x + 7) - 5)(2x + 7)

= (3x - 5)(2x + 7)

One has  3x - 5

another has  2x + 7

Total  =   3x - 5 + 2x + 7  = 5x  + 2

When x = 10

Then  5(10) + 2 = 52

total expenditure of Vicky and Satyam when x = 10  is  52
