Question

Two friends were drinking ice coffee
one friend drank 8 glasses in 15 minutes
other friend drank 2 glasses in 15 minutes
the friend which drank two glasses died
as per police, she drank coffee with poison and died
why didn't the friend which drank 8 glasses didn't die if they drank the same coffee.give reason .
