Two friends, Yash and Meeta, start walking from two different points. Yash starts walking from Point-A and walks 14 m towards the west, and then turns left and walks 20 m. After that, he turns right and walks 21 m to reach Point-C. Meeta starts walking from Point-B and walks 22 m towards the east, and then turns right and walks 20 m. After that, she turns left and walks 21 m to reach Point-C. What is the shortest distance between Point-A and Point-B via Point-C?

Answer:

8m

Step-by-step explanation:

Total distance travelled by A=14+20+21

=55m

Total distance travelled by B=22+20+21

=63m

Difference/Shortest distance between A and B =63-55

=8m

Hope it will help you.
