Step-by-step explanation:

Case I

Let the CP of one goat be Rs x

Profit percentage = 8%

SP = (1+ p/100) of CP

= (1+8/100) × Rs x

= Rs (x + 2x/25)

= Rs 27x/25

Case II

Let the CP of the other goat be Rs x

Loss percentage = 10%

SP = (1- l/100) of CP

= (1- 10/100) of Rs x

= Rs (x-x/10)

= Rs 9x/10

Case III

The difference between 2 SP = Rs 180

By condition,

27x/25 - 9x/10 = 180

54x-45x/50 = 180

9x/50 = 180

x = 180×50/9

x = 1000

So, the CP of each goat is Rs 1000

Answer:

Cp=1000

Step-by-step explanation:

let one sp be x

then,other sp be x-180

case 1

sp=x

p% =8

cp=sp*100/100+p%

cp=x*100/100+8

cp=100x/108

case 2

sp=x-180

l%=10

cp=sp*100/100-10

cp=x-180*100/90

cp=100x-18000/90

by the condition:-

100x/108=100x-18000/90

=90(100x)=108(100x-18000)

=9000x=10800x-1944000

=9000x-10800=-1944000

=1800x=1944000

=x=1944000/1800

=x=1800

cp=100*1080/108

cp=1000
