TWo heaters A and B , A(100 W,220 V) and B(150 W,220V). If 1 kwh is priced at 30 paise which one will be more costlier if it runs for 1 hour and waht is the amount of bill

Heater B will be costlier as it is of 150 W on same input of 220 Volts.

Amount :-

150 watt means 150 Joule / sec

so converting it into Watt hour

we will multiply 60×60 sec in it .....

So, 150 ×60× 60 = 54000 Watt hour

now we'll convert watt hoir into kilonwatt hour

so, we'll divide it by 1000

=> 54000/1000 kWh

=> 54 kWh

therefore total amount will be 54 × 0.5 rupees

===> 27 rupees.
