So,

2x + y = 205

x   +2y = 155

Mulpying the coeffiecient if x in 2 equations, we get

2x + y = 205

2x + 4y = 310

0 + 3y = 105

3y = 105

y = 105/3

  =35

Therfore price of pie = 35

Applying y on the eqn 1

2x + 35 = 205

2x = 205-35 = 170

x = 170/ 2

x= 85
