Two identical bean plants are grown next to each other. They receive the same amount of water and sunlight. One plant is covered with a green, light-filtering plastic cover, and the other with a clear plastic cover. Measurements of the bean plants’ heights are recorded every day for two weeks.

According to the question asked above, when two identical plants are planted together, just the difference is that, one of them is covered with green light filtering plastic and other is covered with clear plastic, and they are kept for observation, then the possible results shall be follows.

         The plant covered with green plastic may loose it's pigment, known as chlorophyll, which gets activated, on receiving sunlight, whereas the, other plant may be green for more time, but it shall not be possible to survive for the plant long, because of the respiration trouble, that shall be blocked due to the  plastic covered on them.
