Identical bodies having the same height = h

time (t) for 1st body by x person 10 sec

time (t) for 2nd body by y person 20 sec.

To find:

The work done by persons X and Y

Solution:

For calculating the work done by the object, the formula used is as follows.

W= force × displacement

Now, from the above equation, it is clear that the work done does not depend upon the time taken by the object to reach a particular height.

Therefore in our question, the mass of the bodies are the same and even the height at which they are taken is the same.

Therefore, we can conclude that the work done to make the two bodies of the same mass to the same height is the same.
