Two identical bulbs B1 and B2 are connected across a DC battery as shown in the figure the resistance of the inductor l is equal to that of resistor .on closing the key k
1. Which bulb lights up earlier
2 which bulb glows brighter when current becomes steady
3 what will you observe if DC battery is replaced by an AC source of the same effective voltage? Justify your answer each case

The bulb that is connected with the same side of Resistor R lights up early because of induced emf produces by the coil counters the current which produced it.

Both the bulbs will light up with equal brightness due to an inductor does not provide resistance in the way of the D.C. current.

However inductor also generates induced emf at the time of creating or break of the electric circuit.
