Explanation:let the sphere A and B have charge q and distance between them r.

When C is brought in contact with A the charges distribute as q/2 each.

When C is brought in contact with B the charge distributed is 3q/4 each.

To get charge distribution you first add the charges of both spheres and then halved it.

So the net force on C is 3.74 ×10^-5 N.

Add both forces by A and B on C.
