Two identical containers are filled with equal amount of water and are kept under the sun(same temperature).One container is covered with black cloth and the other is covered with pink cloth.After 5 hours the water of the container covered with black cloth was at higher temperature than another.Do u agree?Justify with proper scientific reasons?

The container covered with a black coloured cloth was at a higher temperature than the container which was covered with a pink coloured cloth, although both containers were kept in the sun for the same time. The reason behind this is that, black colour absorbs heat but does not reflect it back, whereas the pink colour reflects the heat which falls on it.
