Two identical containers are filled with equal amount of water and are kept under the sun ( same temperature). One container is covered with black cloth and the other is covered with pink cloth.In which container will the water heat up faster?why? the two containers are now left to cool off. In which of the two containers will have the water become cool faster? Justify.

The container covered with black cloth will heat up the water more faster... as black colour absorbs the light more as compared to the light colours or white colour. And since the water in pink container will heat up lesser than in the first case.. but cool down more faster than the water in black container.
