Two identical metal balls with charges +2q and -q are separated by some distance and exert a force F on each other. They are joined by a conducting wire which is then removed. What will be the force between them?

I think it is o because charge 2q is cancelled by q so it may be 0

abhilekha123450: Could you be more specific
AaditAntony: the charge is cancelled between q and 2q
AaditAntony: so inly charge is now q
AaditAntony: and the conductot is allready removed
AaditAntony: so the force will be 0
abhilekha123450: Thanks
AaditAntony: wait
AaditAntony: your welcome
AaditAntony: all ways
