Two identical metal sheets, A and B, are rubbed with paper and sand paper respectively. Which one of them will shine more?

We all know that the sand paper has a rough surface which is due to the embedded sand particles. These particles when observed under microscope have sharp and irregular surface. So when we scrape the metal sheet with these papers they create scratches on the surface of the metal sheet. When the surface of sheet is scratched the shiny lustrous metal is seen.

But this doesn't happen with the ordinary paper as they are smooth and cannot scrape the metal surface.
