Answer:

1:4

Explanation:

  • In series resistance 30 ohm
  • in parallel 7.5 ohm

as p=v^2/r

  • power in series 36/30=6/5W
  • power in parallel 36/7.5=24/5

therefore

ratio is 1:4

Answer:1:4

Explanation:Let two ressistors be: R1 and R2 First in series:

Requ= R1+R2

15+15

30

Now,V=IR

and V =6 v

I = V/R

= 6/30

=1/5

=0.2 A

Now , P 1 = VI

= 6*0.2

=1.2 watt.

Similarly in paralell: 1/Requ=1/R1+1/R2

= 2/15

=1/7.5

Requ= 7.5

Now, I=6/7.5

I=60/75 A

P2= VI

= 6*60/75

=4.8watt

Now ratio= P1/P2

=1.2/4.8

=12/48

=1/4

Hence,The ratio is "1:4"

Thanks alot...
