two identical wires, one of nichrome amd other of copper are connected in series and a current is passed through them. state the change observed in the temperature of the two wires. justify your answer and state the law which explains the above observation​

You will see that nicrome wire is getting hot earlier than the copper wire because it has higher resistivity than copper so it will convert the electrical energy into heat energy more earlier than copper wire .

And the law here applied is called as Joule's Law Of Heating

Which states that heat is directly proportional to current,resistance and time

we know , resistivity is directly proportional to temperature. since nichrome wire has high resistivity than copper wire, it will have a greater temperature.
