Given that,

Refractive index of A = 1.2

Refractive index of B = 1.5

Refractive index :

Refractive index is equal to the ratio of velocity of light in vacuum and velocity of light in medium.

We need to calculate the refractive index of B with respect to A

Using formula of refractive index

\dfrac{\mu_{B}}{\mu_{A}}=\dfrac{1.5}{1.2}

Where, \mu_{A} = refractive index of A

\mu_{B} = refractive index of B

\dfrac{\mu_{B}}{\mu_{A}}=1.25

Hence, The refractive index of B with respect to A is 1.25
