The charge on the first sphere is Q1 = 6.6 x 10^-19 C.

Explanation:

Sphere A = radius (r1) = 15 cm

Voltage (V1) = 100 V

Sphere B = radius (r2) = 10 cm

Voltage (V2) = 150 V

After connecting the spheres the potential will be the same and total initial charge will be equal to the total final charge.

=> Kq1/r1 = KQ2/r2 ......(1)

Qinitial = Qfinal .....(2)

Qinitial = V1r1/K = + V2r2 /k

            = 100 x 0.15/k + 150 x 0.1/k

            = 15/k + 15/k = 30/k

Now

= kQ1/0.1 + kQ2/0.15

=> 10Q1 = 30 - Q1k/0.15 k

=> Q1 = 6.6 x 10^-19 C

Thus the charge on the first sphere is Q1 = 6.6 x 10^-19 C
