The electric field due to each of these will be

sigma/2€

So,

Force experienced by the other plate due to this charged plate will be

= Field * Charge

Now, the total charge of the other plate is -sigma*Area of the plate

So,

Total force = -(sigma)^2*Area of plate / 2€

Minus sign just denotes that the force is attractive.

But, pressure experienced

= Force experienced / Area of the plate

= (sigma)^2/2€
