The cost price of the jacket was Rs. 1750.

  • Two jackets were brought at the same cost.
  • Let the cost price of the jacket be x.
  • One jacket is sold at 9% profit.

Selling price of the jacket is x + 0.09x = 1.09x

  • Other jacket is sold at 15% profit.

Selling price of the other jacket is x + 0.15x = 1.15x

  • Now the difference in the selling price of the jacket is Rs. 105.
  • Therefore,

1.15x - 1.09x = 105

0.06x = 105

x = 105/0.06

x = 1750

  • Cost price of the jacket was Rs. 1750.
