Two kinds of fish can be found in a small tank that is 5½feet long. The blue fish is 3½feet long and the orange fish is 9½ feet long. How much longer is the orange fish?

compared to what? you can't compare anything without a standard. for example blue fish or the tank can be the unit of comparison
