2L & 1S (3) work rate is 1/4 per hour (2.5 rate) = 4 hours 1.6

1L & 3S (4) work rate is 1/4 per hour = 4 hours (2.5 rate)

The Change above on 2

This from the loss of 1L to 2S instead still was equal to 1 with 2L is equal 1S ? so 1 = 2.5 & 2 = 2.5

so 4 x 1 = ( 4 rate) & 4 x 0.5 = (2 rate) = Total of (6 rate)

Answer It will take just 1 hour & 36 minutes with 4 large pumps & 4 small pumps

if 5 rate = 2 hours , then minus 1 = 24 minutes = 1 hour 36 minutes
