Let the Base and perpendicular be a

Hypotenuse = sqrt (b^2 +p^2)

=> 50 = sqrt (a^2 +a^2)

On squaring both sides, we get

=> 2500 = 2a^2

=> a^2 = 1250

=> a^2 = 5*5*5*5*2

=> a= 25 root 2

base = 25 \sqrt{2}  \\  perpendicular = 25 \sqrt{2}
