the difference between +2D and -6D is -4D

Power = 1/f

2 = 1/f

f = 1/2

Second lens

-6 = 1/f

f = 1/-6

f = -1/6

Combination of focal length = 1/2 + (-1/6)

= 1/2 - 1/6

= 1/3
