As depicted in figure , P and S have two letters between them in the given word as well as in English alphabet ; and C and E have one letter between them and N and R also have three letters between them .

Thus, there are 3 such pairs.

But in same order as mentioned in the question ;

we have only one pair that is P and S. ( Shown in Figure.)

So between P and S , P comes first in the alphabet.
