Equations given are:

A: y= x-2

So arrange the as per x-y =2

and then multiply it by 3 , to make it compatible with line B

So, it will result as 3x-3y = 6 -------------- Eq. 1

then taking B,

B: y = 3x+4

then rearranging it into 3x-y -4 -----------Eq. 2

Subtracting Eq. 2 from Eq. 1

then, 3x - 3y = 6

- 3x + y = 4

---------------------

-2y = 10

So, y = -5.

Now substuting value of y in Eq.2, then

3x +5 = -4

3x = -9

then x = -3

So,

Answers : x= (-3)

y= (-5)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
