( 5 , 0)  , (0, 5)  , (0 , - 5) are intersection points ,  Area of Triangle formed = 25 sq units

Step-by-step explanation:

x  + y  = 5

x - y  = 5

2x = 10

=> x = 5

& y = 0

a = (5 , 0)  is intersection point of x  + y  = 5 & x - y  = 5

intersecting y axis  => x  = 0

b = ( 0 , 5)    &  c = (0 , -5)   are intersectiion points of y axis with  x  + y  = 5 & x - y  = 5respectiveny

Area of  ( 5 , 0)  , (0, 5)  , (0 , - 5)

=  (1/2) |  5(5 -(-5)) + 0(-5 - 0) + 0(0 - 5) |

= (1/2) | 5* 10  + 0 + 0 |

=  25

Area of Triangle formed = 25 sq units
