oil heats more than water because the specific heat capacity of oil is more than that of water I.e comparitively less heat is required to increase the temperature of oil by 1 degree celcius

hi friend,
[boiling point after 10 min]
as we know that the boiling point of water is 100 degree celcius and the boiling point of oil is 300 degree celcius and we are given 1200 degree celcius for both cases after 10 minutes both will be at their boiling point so we can see that water will be at 100 degree celcius and oil will be at 300 degree celcius { at their max. temperature} after which they will start to take gaseous state.
[which one is heated more]
as the max. temperature of oil is 300 degree celcius and the temperature of water is 100 degree celcius so it's clear that oil will get more heated.
the temp. of oil would be 200 degrees more than that of water's.
hope it helps you :)
