Answer: 0.4 × 10 ⁻⁵ T

Explanation:

Current in the wire , l  = 4 A

Distance of a point  from the wire , r = 16 cm = 0.16m

Magnitude of the magnetic feild at this point is given as =

B = Ц₀ / 4π . 2l / r

Where ,

Ц₀ = premeability of the free space = 4π × 10⁻⁷TmA⁻¹

B = 4 π × 10⁻⁷ × 2 × 4 / 4π × 0.16

B = 0.4 × 10 ⁻⁵ T

Hence, the magnitude of the magnitude feild at a point of 16 cm from the wire is  0.4 × 10 ⁻⁵ T
