Hey.
A magnetic field always must have a unique direction.
The two magnetic field lines do not intersect each other because if they do it means at the point of intersection the compass needle is showing two different directions which is not possible.

If two magnetic lines of force intersect with each other than there would have been two directions of magnetic field at the point of intersection, which is not possible.
