\huge\underline\green{\sf Answer}

\large{\boxed{\sf Tension = 40 N}}

\huge\underline\green{\sf Solution}

FROM NEWTONS SECOND LAW OF MOTION WE WILL CALCULATE ACCELERATION :-

\large{\boxed{\sf F =ma}}

Given :-

F = 120 N

M = \sf{m_{1}+m_{2}} = 8 + 4 => 12kg

a = ?

On putting value :-

\large{\sf 120 = 12 \times a}

\large{\sf a ={\frac{120}{12}}}

\large{\sf a=10 m/{s}^{2}}

We apply Newton equation for 4kg mass :-

F = ma

Given :-

a = \sf{10m/{s}^{2}}

T = ?

m=4kg

On putting value :-

\large{\sf Tension (T) = 4 \times 10 }

\large\red{\boxed{\sf T=40N}}
