two masses M1 and M2 are attached to the ends of a string which passes over a Pulley attached to the top of an inclined plane the angle of inclination of the plane is 30° and the angle when is equals to 10 Kgs .what is the acceleration of mass m2​

let it be θ = 30° and it is said that both the particle have same mass of 10 kg

Now the force applied on both M1 and M2 is the gravitational force

They are M1g and M2g

Now the two component of this force of M1 will be M1gcosθ  and M1gsinθ

Now let the tension be T

we know that T is also an internal force

Therefore the total force of the system,

F = M2g- M1gsinθ  = (M1+M2)a [ where a is the acceleration of the system]

a = (M2 - M1sinθ)g/M1+M2

  = (10 - 10 x sin30 ) x 10 /10+10 = 2.5
