Two masses m1 and m2 separated by a distance r starts moving towards each other due to their own force of attraction. What will be the change in centre of mass?

No external force is acting on the system.
Centre of mass is independent of internal forces.
So, centre of mass will not change.

∴ Change in centre of mass = 0
