m1 = 5kg
m2 = 4kg

a = m1 g / m1 + m2

a = 5 x 9.8 / ( 9 )
a = 49 / 9
a = 5 .44 m/s^2

Answer:

The acceleration will be 5.44 meter per Second Square

Explanation:

The two given masses are 5 kg and 4kg respectively on a frictionless pulley E with 5 kg weight being pulled down by Gravity and the surface is also frictionless and there will be a gradual acceleration the formula for which is given as follows

A=\frac{m 1 g}{m 1+m 2}

Where the value of g is 9.8 meter per second and M1 is 5

A=\frac{5 \times 9.8}{5+4}=\frac{49}{9}=5.44 \mathrm{m} / \mathrm{s}^{2}
