the one which is having more mass will dominant the other and will accelerate in the direction of gravitational force that is downward in this case. it can be understood as 4kg body will exert a force of 40N in downward direction and the body of mass 5kg will exert a force of 50N in downward direction. the force of 50N will first dominate 40N and then apply remaining 10N force force which will accelerate the mass of 5kg by 2 metre per second square by the formula F = ma.
