Kinetic energy = 1/2 mv2
Kinetic energy of 1st object = 1/2 ×x × 4y ×4y = 8xy
Kinetic energy of 2nd object = 1/2 × 4x × 5y × 5y = 50 xy
Ratio of the kinetic energies of the 2 objects = 8:50 = 4:25
