Two media P and Q have refractive indices 1.5 and 2 respectively. A ray of light travels from air to medium P and another ray of light travels from air to medium Q with the same angle of incidence.
- How do the light rays deviate from the normal in medium P and Q.
- Does the light ray travel with greater velocity in medium P and Q.

When the light enter from air to p it will bend towards the normal (according to law of bending) when the same light travel from P to Q it will again bend towards the normal, velocity will decrease as refractive index increase according with this

n=c/v.
