Refractive index of a medium (n)= speed of light in vaccum(c)÷ speed of light in that medium(v).

Since,c is constant.

So,n is directly proportional to v.

So,the greater the refractive index is,the denser the medium is and the slower the velocity of light is in taht medium and hence more will be the bending.

Now,

n1=1.50(r.i. of 1st medium)

n2=1.31(r.i. of 2nd medium)

Since n1>n2

So, the first medium is relatively denser and the second one is relatively rarer.

Hence,the bending will be more in

2nd medium of refractive index 1.50.
